My business developed out of my love for photography, and using a skillful means to document life's precious moments through my lens. It all started when my son was born, and life took on a brand new meaning. Suddenly, I realized the importance of photos for life's big and small events, and I began to develop the skills I had gained through personal, artistic expression years ago. I bought my first professional camera and, without realizing it at the time, began building my portfolio.
Over the years, my work has taken various forms. Initially 'LaDarling Photography', my business is now 'Sawyer Rose Photography' to honor my late, Great-Grandmother, Rosemary Sawyer. She was and is the inspiration behind my passion. In my younger years, I spent countless hours looking through her collection of photos from the early 1900's with her in the years before she passed. Because of those memories and because of my passion for photography, I began photographing all of the precious moments I could, and even began answering requests to attend galas, events, weddings, and birthdays of my relatives, friends, and colleagues to photograph their memories as well.
I am passionate about the work that I do- being a part of life's big and small moments with you, and using my skill and experience to ensure you have quality, memorable images. I work with my clients to find an affordable, convenient package to suit their needs, and I deliver your images in a timely manner and in the format of your choice.
